If you have a solution for both I would be ever thankful, but for now the MacBook is the most important as it hinder my work.⏰ "World's Most Annoying alarm clock app"- Cnet, Gizmodo, Huffington Post, PC Mag. To my frustration, I also have a similar problem with the storage filling up on the my iphone (5s). I have tried to google the issue, but haven't found any answer to the problem. To me both 120 GB and 67 GB seems way to big.
It even show different size depending on where I check it ( 120 GB, 67 GB and 10 GB, see pictures). When I check the storage I can see that the system is taking up a suspicious large amount of storage.

When I restart the MacBook it will start off at about 20 GB free storage, but very soon (within minutes) shrink (while system grows) until I get the message "storage almost full", and there is only a few MB left of storage. I know for a fact that I should have left over storage as I recently have deleted files greater than 20 GB.
